Job Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting activities including entries, invoicing, and payments
- Maintain books of accounts as per company standards
- Prepare and update MIS reports, bank reconciliation statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage vendor bills, material invoices, and site-related expenses
- Coordinate with site teams for material consumption, petty cash, and project expenses
- Process E-way bills, purchase orders, and GST-related documentation
- Maintain records of receivables and payables
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and vendors when required
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal company policies
Skills & Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP or similar ERP software
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation
- Mandatory experience in construction industry accounting
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Good communication and coordination skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
